DDS Compliance Requirements
All 40 hours of training required for California DDS Behavior Day Programs will be fully rolled out by June 2026. These smaller content drops will provide individual certificates that will add up to the full 40 hours. Beginning July 2026, the complete 40-hour training series (with one certificate) will be available as a bundled option.

Who is this training for?
Our training is designed for IDD adult services providers - including residential facilities, day programs, and behavior support programs. It’s ideal for direct support professionals, behavior technicians, and IDD support staff with a focus on adult services.
Does this training meet California Regional Center requirements?
Yes. Our program is built to meet the behavior program staff training requirements for California DDS & Regional Center vendored programs. We follow the state’s guidelines so you can be confident your team is compliant.
How is your training different from other online courses?
Most trainings focus on working with children. We focus exclusively on adult services. Our content is written and recorded by a BCBA who owns and operates a California Regional Center vendored Enhanced Behavior Support Day Program, so every lesson is grounded in real-world adult program experience.
Will I receive a certificate after completing the course?
Yes. You will obtain a certificate for each training individually. To meet DDS day program requirements collect the 40 hours over time and show training progress to oversight agencies. In July 2026, there will be an option to obtain one certificate for the complete 40 hours upon completion.
How long does it take to complete the training?
You can work at your own pace. You'll have flexible access, so your team can complete it without interrupting their work schedules.
